LA MORTE

E’ la morte che mi fa muovere e che mi tiene in vita. Poiché tutti i nostri antenati, tutti quelli che sono venuti prima, sono in noi. E ancora, sono loro, gli antenati accumulati dentro di noi che ci tengono sospesi in superfice.

Rassegna

La rassegna sul tema della morte parte da una riflessione di Benhamali Farazahd, artista persiano naturalizzato italiano e nostro ospite.
Farahzad vede la morte come una magia nel momento della fusione amorosa del corpo con la terra che lo accoglie.
Visione che differisce molto dalla cultura occidentale che sembra voler dimenticare l’unico vero appuntamento della nostra vita.
L’'unica certezza che sempre ci accompagna.
La rassegna è iniziata lo scorso 8 gennaio e proseguirà per tutto il 2009 con due incontri ogni mese dove filosofi, attori, artisti morti e mai nati porteranno la loro interpretazione della morte con performance, video, installazioni e opere.
Il prossimo incontro avrà luogo il 31 marzo.

Biografia di Mister X

Mister X viveva 31.000 anni fa ed era uno come tutti noi. Uguale a noi.
Era però inconsapevole.
Non sapeva in che luogo viveva e neppure in quale nazione fosse e soprattutto se esisteva una nazione.
Si interessava alla natura e faceva arte spontanea.
Viveva in un suo mondo personale e fantastico come tutti gli altri suoi contemporanei.
Mister X era incuriosito da tutte le cose che lo circondavano come il volo di un insetto, un germoglio che spunta, il cielo, il sole.
Lo stesso nostro sole che ci ha creati e di cui tutti noi siamo il prolungamento.
Mister X scavava spontaneamente tutti i giorni e tutte le notti per arricchire il suo percorso di vita e per riempire il proprio vuoto interiore, il vuoto che lo circondava.
E' morto e caduto nell’oblio mentre fondeva la sua ricchezza con l'esperienza invisibile.

Mostra sognata di Mister X

La mostra sognata di Mister X, è infondo la vera arte
illusione, magia, tutto ciò che tanti volevano dire e non hanno mai detto.
Tutti ciò che volevano fare e non hanno fatto,
ciò che non è mai stato fotografato, dipunto, suonato in concerto...
Proiezione sulle pareti di: natura, persone, sentimenti
in modo leggermente sdoppiato e sfumato
cielo azzurro, balli, musiche che qualcuno voleva fare e non ha fatto.
Che Mister X, il Nostro artista evanescente, ha visto e fissato solo sulla sua anima
ora noi proiettiamo la sua anima,
poesie mai scritte, poesie mai lette...poesie strapate, poesie sognate...
fotografia di un artista illuminato dai suoi colori,
i colori dell'anima...

Dopo aver spedito l’invito a questa serata abbiamo ricevuto tantissime email che commentavano l’argomento; tra le tante abbiamo scelto quella di Alida Fiaschi che esprime il suo personale contributo e condivide il nostro pensiero.

MISTER X

DEATH

Death is what moves me and what keeps me alive.
All of our ancestors, all those who came before, exist in us.
It is them, in truth, the accumulated ancestors within us who keep us suspended on the surface.

The exhibition

The exhibition series on the subject of death is a reflection on the part of Benham Ali Farahzad, a naturalized Italian of Persian descent and our guest.
Farahzad sees death as magic, the moment of amorous fusion between the body and the receiving, welcoming earth.
This is a very distinct vision from Occidental culture, which seems to want to forget about the only genuine appointment we all have in our lives.
The only certitude that always accompanies us.
The series began on the 8th of January and will continue throughout all of 2009. In the twice-monthly encounters, philosophers, actors and dead and never born artists will provide their personal interpretations of death through performances, videos, installations and other works.
The following encounter will take place on the 31st of March.

The Biography of Mister X

Mister X lived 31,000 years ago and was a person just like us. The same as us.
He was, however, unconscious.
He did not know where he lived or what nation he was in, or even if such things as nations existed.
He was interested in nature and made spontaneous art.
He lived in his a personal and fantastical world of his own, as did the rest of his contemporaries.
Mister X was curious about all the things around him: the flight of an insect, a budding sprout, the sky, the sun.
The same sun that created us and whose prolungation we are.
Mister X dug spontaneously into his soul every day and every night to enrich his life path and to fill his internal void, the void that surrounded him.
He died by falling into oblivion while fusing his richness with invisible experience.

The deamt exhibition of Mister X

The dreamt exhibition of Mister X is, at heart, true art
illusion, magic, everithing that so many wished to say but never said.
Everything they wished to do but never did,
that which has never been photographed, painted, dreamt in concert…
wall projections of: nature, people, feelings
in a slighly overlapping format
the blue sky, dances, music that someone wished to but did not make.
Which Mister X, Our evanescent artist, saw and made a part of his soul alone.
Now we project ont his soul
poetry never written, poetry never read… torn poetry, dreamt poetry…
photography of an artist illuminated by his own colours,
the colours of his soul…

After sending the invitations for this event, we received many emails with comments on the subject. Amongst many, we chose the email sent by Alida Fiaschi in which she expresses her personal contribution and shares our opinion.
For this reason, we give special thanks to Alida Fiaschi.

The evening, open to the public, begins at 9 PM “one-off event”

Artists, poets, philosophers, actors and psychologists
witness their personal vision and interpretation of death
with performances, installations, videos and works of art.
The unique events are dedicated to us all, to study the theme in depth and create sensations and emotions.
